Has anyone else run into this? Is there a way to update HotFixes to show this is installed, or a way to update the collection looking at a different indicator on if Flash is present? I looked into it further on one machine and found that KB4577586 had been installed on March 19, 2021, but it is not showing in HotFixes (which is what the collection looks at). For the most part, this has been working great, but I have a few computers that are returning an error code that the patch is not necessary. So unless you are willing to perform a system rollback, or restore an earlier backup image, once Flash has been removed from your system, it really is gone forever.I am currently using the collection provided for Flash (Windows Embedded) to target workstations for deployment of KB4577586 (Removal of Flash Player). For more information about how to remove Adobe Flash Player, see the Uninstall Flash Player | Windows topic on the Adobe website.Īs is made clear here, installing KB4577586 is a one-way process. If you installed Adobe Flash Player manually from another source, it will not be removed.

As of today, Adobe is blocking all Flash content from running.Windows 10 KB4601319 update is causing webcam problems.
